Roosters 4th Annual Gingerbread House Contest

Professionals division

Roosters in Magrath, in support of a local non-profit group called Pals of the Pool, has held a Gingerbread House contest on the evening of the town celebration known as Magrath Hometown Christmas. The purpose of the contest is to raise money for the new swimming pool. Support to renovate the current swimming pool is much needed. While the town has set aside $100,000 for a new pool (so far), it falls short of the 2.5 million in estimated project cost - so we have a way to go.

We are thankful for the following businesses who have taken time to build these beautiful gingerbread masterpieces and kindly donated then for this online auction in support of the Pals of the Pool and to the businesses which are displaying them for viewing.

Lethbridge College Culinary Arts can be viewed at Mocha Cabana, Lethbridge
Fork in the Rowed can be viewed at M&M Meat Shops southside Lethbridge
CJOC Mornings with Jordan & Char both can be viewed at Wine Cavern Lethbridge
Edible Arrangements van be viewed at ATB on Mayor Magrath in Lethbridge
Magrath Pharmacy can be viewed at Beachcomber Hottubs Lethbridge
Magrath ATB can be viewed at M&M Meat Shops northside Lethbridge
Sugar Dreams can be viewed at ATB Magrath
Leisels Buns can be viewed at Urban Grocer Lethbridge
Crazy Cakes can be viewed at CIBC downtown Lethbridge
Roosters can be viewed at Good Earth Coffee House Lethbridge

Winning bidders will be contacted Dec 4th to make arrangements to have their gingerbread projects delivered to them. If you live more than 2 hours outside of Lethbridge, there may be costs associated with your delivery. Come join us for Hometown Christmas Celebration in Magrath on Dec 3rd from 6-9 PM. See Santa, catch a sleigh ride, free ice skating, late night shopping, crafter and more and view all of these gingerbread projects at Roosters that evening before they head off to their new homes.
